After planning several events for family, friends, and companies, ranging from weddings and birthday parties to corporate dinners and trade show exhibits, Jennifer Chagnon realized it was time to pursue her passion and started The Pink Polka Dot. From brainstorming ideas at the beginning to coordinating the actual event, it’s what she loves to do!

In 2009 The Pink Polka Dot launched as a wedding and event planning company, but quickly evolved into more. After realizing not all clients want to go online to purchase their wedding and event accessories, Jen opened a store in Falmouth to fill the void. Clients are now able to experience unique personalized service while customizing and purchasing these items. After a year in business, the store expanded to carry a wider range of gifts and custom gift baskets for all occasions.

In May of 2011, the store will be expanding to the space currently occupied by The Paper Tyger. The larger space will include a wedding boutique area, as well as an expanded retail area to include cards, stationery, gift wrap, and unique gifts.
